Finding yourself after half a decade…

I spent the majority of my first 50 years of life wishing I would die.

So sad looking back but true.

So many times I was wracked with pain that I wanted to escape from.

The physical pain. The emotional pain. The relational pain. The psychological pain.

The Pain from the present.

The Pain from the past.

And total dread and overwhelming FEAR of the future.

Of course, there were the most magical small windows of light in the majority of darkness.

I was told repeatedly that I would never have children because my Endometriosis had so ravaged my body.

I had a threatened miscarriage but I was blessed to give birth to my beautiful daughter Maxine and handsome son Sebastian 9 years later (with only part of one ovary left and both Fallopian tubes damaged).

Their births were the happiest days of my life.
