Self Love Is Best
This Friday I encourage you whether you are in a relationship or not to celebrate Galentine’s day and celebrate who you are as a girl or a woman.
Now — I am not broadcasting this short podcast to be a cynic or wet blanket over the day especially as I am enjoying life as a single woman.
But facts are facts and I think worth being aware of.
Worth noting that this day is a marketer and retailers dream. Over $13 Billion are spent for Valentine’s Day with the average person spending $150.
Yet The actual history of valentines day is pretty grim and gruesome.
February 14 is the feast of St. Valentine, a Catholic saint who was executed by Roman Emperor Claudius II (and I think we can assume a high grade narcissist!) on that date sometime during the third century A.D.
